Stage 1 Pressure Ulcer CS001

The self-adhesive Stage 1 Pressure Ulcer represents the early stage of a pressure sore.
Stage 1 pressure ulcers are characterized by superficial reddening of the skin (or red, blue, or purple discoloration in those with darker skin tones) that does not blanch upon pressure.

This simulator allows the role-playing instructor or student to apply the pressure ulcer to the body, allowing the instructor to demonstrate real-world treatment methods. The simulator can also be used in conjunction with training skin on a table (sold separately) as a classroom practice aid.
