The pulse oximeter is equipped with an automatic on/off function, activating when the device is attached and turning off when the sensor is removed. The pulse oximeter is standardly equipped with a user manual on CD, a set of batteries and a lanyard. Additional equipment for the Vantage 9590 includes a protective case and a retractable lanyard.
