This self-adhesive granulation tissue represents the wound healing stage that follows the inflammatory phase and transitions into the proliferation phase, which involves the construction of new tissue. Granulation manifests as red, bumpy tissue, often described as having a cobblestone-like texture.
This simulator allows an instructor, role player or student to apply a wound to the body, giving the instructor the ability to demonstrate real-world treatment methods. The simulator can also be used in conjunction with practice skin on a table (sold separately) as a classroom training aid.
