Cabinet Isolator

The isolator has an expandable enclosure and a filtering system that protects against chemical, biological, and radiological contamination. The system has built-in shelves for food, drinks, communication devices, a chemical toilet, etc. The isolator is available in various sizes and configurations (providing protection for 6-35 people) and has built-in electrical outlets and a telephone.

The Isolator is equipped with the following components:

• Wall-mounted body
• Easily sliding front with airtight entry doors
• Airtight compartment with the possibility of enlargement, featuring a cover made of gas, bacteria, and virus-impermeable material
• Filtering system including, among other things, the following components:
  - Pre-filter removing dust particles
  - High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters filtering out viruses, bacteria, and other dangerous particles
  - Efficient carbon filter absorbing toxic chemicals and gases
  - Electric blower with manual backup system in case of power failure (backup battery available in selected variants)
  - Overpressure valve for regulating overpressure in the chamber. By introducing purified air into the secured compartment, the filtering system creates overpressure in the chamber, preventing the penetration of toxic substances. This solution eliminates the need to wear gas masks and protective clothing. The air inside the isolator exits through the overpressure valve, ensuring constant air exchange.

Isolator Operation:

The isolator is usually closed and looks like a wall cabinet, but in the event of an accident, the doors open, and the safety latches are unlocked, allowing the front of the isolator to be extended until it is fully deployed. Then, the whole family or office staff can enter the safe shelter, close the doors, and turn on the filtering systems.
