Burnshield Burn Hydrogels

Burnshield dressings consist of cotton gauze soaked in burn hydrogel.

Thanks to the semi-liquid form of the gel, they can also be used on burns where parts of clothing remain, because they reach the skin directly through filtration. The full range of sizes ensures the selection of dressings from those for minor burns to hydrogel blankets to cover the entire body. Burnshield hydrogel works instantly: it absorbs heat from the wound, protects the wound without restricting oxygen exchange, moisturizes the wound and eliminates the pain factor.

The dressing packaging can be an additional protective barrier used to cover the wound. In the case of longer transports and drying of the hydrogel, which is 93% water, the dressing should be moistened with hydrogel from 60 ml or 125 ml bottles.
