Deep Tissue Injury CS005

Self-adhesive deep tissue injury represents a type of pressure ulcer that results from prolonged pressure and shear forces between bone and muscle.
Deep tissue injuries are characterized by persistent, non-blanchable, dark red, purple, or brown skin discoloration caused by damage to underlying soft tissue.

This simulator allows an instructor, role player, or student to apply a pressure ulcer to the body, giving the instructor the opportunity to demonstrate real-world treatment methods. The simulator can also be used in conjunction with training skin on a table (sold separately) as a teaching aid for classroom practice.
