T-POD Combat Pelvic Stabilization Belt

Stabilization belts are used in the management of pelvic injuries and to control potential hemorrhages within the pelvis.

The T-POD belt is the only universal belt designed for patients in all weight categories – from pediatric to bariatric. A special pulley system allows you to tighten the belt and stabilize the pelvis with one hand, with minimal tensile force. The pulley system will tighten the belt circumference evenly and, most importantly, bilaterally balanced, without the effect of rotation. In emergency management of pelvic injuries, there is no other way to stabilize and stop bleeding than a pelvic belt. T-POD is 100% X-ray translucent and can be used in an MRI environment.
