The SAROS oxygen concentrator was originally designed for military use and situations where access to compressed oxygen is limited or impossible.
Saros provides a constant oxygen flow at 1, 2, or 3 l/min and supports the patient's spontaneous breaths using a pulse mode (oxygen is then delivered in a bolus at the beginning of each patient's breath). Built-in autoSAT® technology automatically adjusts oxygen production to current needs. BTP technology provides temperature and pressure compensation. The built-in battery allows the device to operate, ensuring uninterrupted operation even during power failures or absence of power. The concentrator can be connected to a ventilator, enriching the respiratory mixture without the need to connect compressed oxygen.
